Sorry that I have not posted lately. I have been busy. To be honest I'm busy today too but I think I can squeeze this in. Let me tell you in advance I most likely will not be blogging next week because my family and I are going on vacation. I do have bad news for you though, I was not enjoying island of the Blue Dolphins that much so I stopped reading it. Now I am reading "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." I will say I like this book because it is really like you are reading a file. Sometimes Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler will talk to you in her files writing "Have you ever been to a museum?" she calls you Saxonberg though because Saxonberg is her lawyer and she is writing this for him/her. This is weird, but in both "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" and "Island of the Blue Dolphins" kids are alone. In "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" (I hope you understand how annoying it is to keep having to spell that out) kids are alone because they ran away when Claudia, the main character, did not feel she was being treated fairly. Of course, when kids run away there is a lot of mystery and for some reason Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler is spying on Claudia. I will tell you why when I know. An interesting thing about this book is that people that I talk to are either saying "Oh! That is such a good book" or they say "I have never heard of that!" Anyways I am loving this book, and I will try to keep you posted.

Sorry I thought I had told you about Island of the Blue Dolphins.
