I'm dead. I'm literally dead. What can be said about a book that is this good. Speechless. Crying. In love. I was way too emotionally attached to this book, and I have no regrets. Period. Yes! I loved this book if you couldn't already tell, but before I give my review, I need to discuss a few updates throughout my blog. A quick reminder that conventional errors are just going to be a part of my blogs, and I have come to peace with that (so like... don't mind all my mistakes)

Remarkably Bright Creatures
By Lydia Key I am trying to post at least once every Wednesday now (maybe every other, maybe weekends... We'll see!) As I said in my previous posts, I love to put work into these posts but to some extent, it gets to be a lot. Therefore, there WILL be grammar and spelling mistakes in this, but you'll just have to bear with me! Right now, I want to focus in on one of my favorite books that I have read in a while. This is Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. This was

The Hunger Games- by Susanne Collins
Last week, I told you I was reading an amazing book but didn't tell what it was. Well, its The Hunger Games. I have been reading the Hunger Games every spare second I have. The character development of this book is excellent and you are on constant edge to see if these characters you love with all your heart are alive. The Hunger Games is about what could happen in the future. They are divided into districts that all rule under the Capitol. Once a year one boy and one girl a

Linked-by Gordon Korman
***The following book and review will have heavy topics about the neo-Nazi movement. I am currently reading this book called Linked. I chose it because I already knew I love the author, Gordon Korman. He wrote Unplugged (a book I have read), along with many others such as: Resart , Ungifted , Unteachables , Master Mind , Swindle , Slacker , etc. I have heard from a close friend that has read quite a few of these that they are all amazing. We are here to talk about Linked t

The Amber Spyglass- by Phillip Pullman
'The Amber Spyglass,' is the third and final book in this series. I posted a little late because I was trying to finish my book. That was a lot of talk about how I read the book but what about what I actually read. Well, the book itself is really good, you won't understand a thing it says though f you start on the third book. I like how the book makes you feel like everything it is saying could be true. You know it is impossible, but they are in different worlds so it very w

Ban This Book
Good morning! I just read a book called "Ban This Book" by Alan Gratz. I have mentioned it in a previous blog post when I was interviewing Erin . "Ban This Book" is about a girl my age who is always good and follows the rules. She absolutely loves books so much so that she lies to her parents that she is in an extracurricular activity when she is really just passing time reading at the library. One day, Mrs.Spencer (one of Amy's classmate's Mom), the president of the PTA ba

The Royal Diaries: Marie Antoinette Princess of Versailles
I am reading The Royal Diaries: Marie Antoinette Princess of Versailles. If you don't already know, Marie Antoinette was the Princess of Versailles. She was born into Austrian Royalty and had to marry well. This book is based on her life and tells Marie's innermost thoughts. Marie Antoinette explains how she feels about the marriage. I like to think Marie Antoinette wrote it. This book is not word for word of what she wrote because it is fiction. Either way it is a good book

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (5) -Part Two
As you know, I am in the middle of a 800 page book, written by J.K Rowling. Now that I'm farther into the book I thought I'd tell you a bit more. The large book has gotten interesting. You are always on the very edge of your seat. With O.W.Ls (REALLY important exams that could affect the students' careers) coming up Ron and Harry are buried under loads of homework. They keep letting their homework pile up while Hermione still manages to do it in a timely manner. Another th

Frankie and Bug
Hello! Happy New Year! I got more into this book (like about 100 pages into it) and I realized that it was a mystery book too. It is beautifully written and contains exquisite vocabulary. Even though those are all good things in a book, they make the suspenseful parts of the books more suspenseful. This is just my opinion though. You should keep in mind that you have a different opinion than me. I generally do not like mystery books. I am going to keep reading it, though. I

Are you there God? It's me Margaret.
Hello. I hope you are having a good day. I just want all of you to know that this book is not that religious. Also, if it makes you feel better to know that I don't leave out key details I am telling you: in GoogIe it says that this book does qualify as a young adult book, probably because of the talk of puberty. Actually, have only read half of it. Well, a bit more than half. So far it is about this girl named Margaret who wants to find her religion because everyone she know

The Giver - Part 1
Do you know the phrase "cannot put a book down?" That is what happens to me with The Giver. Literally. I like this book so much that I could read it for hours. I have so much to say about this book. One thing I'd like to say is that you really feel like you are in the book when you read it. I know these are things a lot of people say about books, but it is true. I personally love books by Lois Lowery. Again, I said this at the beginning of my blog, but I want you to remember

The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler
Good morning! Today I am going to finish blogging about "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." I loved this book and may I point out that it won the Newbery Award. This is a big metal for a book. In the other half of the book that I did not tell you about Claudia and Jamie meet Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. She is the one writing the files, too. Claudia also finds a statue named "Angel." It may or may not of been made by Michelangelo. Claudia would like to find the

The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler
Sorry that I have not posted lately. I have been busy. To be honest I'm busy today too but I think I can squeeze this in. Let me tell you in advance I most likely will not be blogging next week because my family and I are going on vacation. I do have bad news for you though, I was not enjoying island of the Blue Dolphins that much so I stopped reading it. Now I am reading "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." I will say I like this book because it is really like

But without further ado I bring you "The House That Wasn't There" Now before I tell you about this book you need to know that when I BLOW through a book that means I'm loving the book. Piggie and Gerald
Morning! To day I will be blogging about early readers. My sister is actually a beginner, too. Now the kind I am talking about is that they know how to read just are unsecure on some words. Take for example the sentence "My dog ate the grass weirdly," they could slowly read it but need help on "weirdly." Now do you understand the level we are talking about? Good. Book of recommendation: Piggie and Gerald! Written by Mo Willams DESCRIPTION Great Friends Hilarious Kind Early

"THE WILD ROBOT!"
I read "The Wild Robot" and it was so emotional especially for my mom. She was crying. Roz is a robot who ends up on a island but does not have a human. All the other robots died so she makes friends with the animals. One day Roz adopted a gosling and that is really where the action begins. This book takes place in the future so every human has a robot to do their jobs. I think Roz is so cool because she adapts to her life and a single act of kindness makes her famous and lo

"Mrs. Piggle Wiggle"
Mrs. Piggle Wiggle can basically solve any problem a child has. Won't eat dinner she can solve that. Not cleaning up a kids room she can solve that. If she can't solve the problem nobody can. Although this is not something you can do in reality the book is funny. So let's explore her techniques.
