Books, Books, and More Books

A while back, I interviewed Mara Baker. Who is a loyal reader of my blog, an intense reader, and works to make video games. I am just now realizing I never fully posted this intriguing moment. This post is pretty exciting for me since the last time I interviewed someone was in 2022, an interview with Erin Schultz . Now, we will dive into the emotions people explore while reading, tell us about some of her favorite books as a child, and Mara will give some adult recommendation

I interviewed Erin Schultz. Erin has a English Major and used to be a social justice lawyer. She absolutely loves books so I thought she'd be perfect to interview! She also has two children my age so she knows what kind of books we are reading. When her children were young she would read picture books to them such as: Curious George , Rosie Revere the Engineer , and The Book With No Pictures . We were in Venice and we decided to visit this really interesting bookshop. The bookshop used up ALL of its space to store books and postcards with cats on them. I noticed that it seemed to have a strong connection with cats. There were hilarious photos of adorable kittens all around. Aside from all of the cats, they had a mammoth gondola in the middle of the bookshop. For those who don't already know, a gondola is a boat that is used in Venice. There are no cars in Venice. M

This week visited Seattle! While visiting, I decided to go to The Seattle Public Library. This library is huge and architecturally significant. Level one contains the Children's Center.
