Good morning! Today I am going to finish blogging about "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." I loved this book and may I point out that it won the Newbery Award. This is a big metal for a book. In the other half of the book that I did not tell you about Claudia and Jamie meet Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. She is the one writing the files, too. Claudia also finds a statue named "Angel." It may or may not of been made by Michelangelo. Claudia would like to find the truth. The original owner was Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. She sold the statue to the museum. Claudia and Jamie look for Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, hoping that she has some answers. The story is for you to read. Figure out if the kids get home safely. Do you think they find Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler? Do they get answers? Does Claudia get to return home a different person? Will she get to have a secret like she hopes?
