Kamala was the FIRST at a lot of things. Kamala was the FIRST person of color and the FIRST female to become the vice president. Interestingly, she did not pass her FIRST bar exam. She took another one. Then, Kamala Harris passed the exam! Then she served as a district attorney. Soon after that she became a senator. What does this strong woman influence you to do? What does she mean to you? "Who Was Kamala Harris" is full of detail. You can really paint the picture in your head. It is short, though. I would say about 70 to 90 pages. I am also reading a book called " The Fabled Fourth Graders of Aesop Elementary School. I would usually recommend more difficult books. This book is funny, though. Plus there is a moral at the end of each chapter. Well, each chapter except the first one. I have no idea why. A quick summary of the story is that there is a class that always misbehaves. When they find a teacher for them, the teacher, Mr. Jupiter, can tolerate anything, other than bullying. To spit balls he would say " What a creative thing to do," and when they name call him he says "Oh what a beautiful name!" The kids liked to get on teachers' nerves so the are unhappy with this. After a while they grow to like him, though. Any more questions on the book? Just read it.
