DUE!
Getting book from the library is a great way to get books. What if someone just kept a book though? That is where renewing books comes in handy. When you renew a book from the library, you get it for another couple of weeks. In my school library, you can only renew it once. If you renew it you only have a total of two weeks to finish your book which sounds fine but it is hard to finish very long books. Today I have a quick story about only having two weeks.
I had renewed my book, and I was doing the math of how much longer I would have it. I realized I only had a week. I was not that close to the end of the book either. Two days before it was due I still had seventy pages to go. I was worried I would not make the deadline. Seventy pages is not as bad as it sounds, though. I finished the book on the last day I possibly could. It was a close call, but that did not ruin how good the book was.
On the Shores of Silver Lake
This book is amazing! It is mainly about a family in the time period of pioneering. This is one of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books about the Ingalls' family. They go out west to a place where a town is soon to be built. Pa had gotten a job there. The only problem was they needed to find homestead. Pa was not worried about that though. Mr. Boast is a close friend of theirs and he reminds Pa of the Spring Rush. Not even this comment would be able to get to Pa's head. When the Spring Rush does arrive, it worries Pa. Their are so many men coming to claim their land! He stops procrastinating and files their homestead. Pa wants to continue west but Ma wants to be completely settled. Which parent gets their way? If you are curious if they go on another adventure or they stay in the peace read the book.

The picture above is three people in a library. This has to do with my "Due."
